At SBC, we are dedicated to ensuring
children find the fire, the skills and the courage to live out the tremendous
potential each of them carry. |

SBC was developed by Metro ECSU in 1999 to better serve contributors through its 501(c)(3) status) and improve the focus and scope of our student enrichment programs. Staff and resources are employed by SBC as needed from Metro ECSU to provide cost-effective support to individual programs. |
| Over 700 schools in the Twin Cities metro area are served by SBC programs. The combined enrollment for Twin Cities metro area school districts is about 500,000 students or half of Minnesota's K-12 population. This area, totaling 3,000 square miles, encompasses the urban areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul ringed by suburbs and rural towns. |
SBC programs serve approximately 20,000 students and their teachers during each school year. Continued high student participation and strong support from schools, school districts and the community are proof of the value of the programs provided by Success Beyond the Classroom. |
Success Beyond the Classroom (SBC) plans and coordinates top quality student programs. These programs offer academic challenge opportunities that seek to stretch students beyond their typical classroom experiences. |
