Join us as we celebrate our 20th year of inspiring young writers!

The Young Authors Conference (YAC) promotes student enthusiasm and competence in written communication. It focuses on the concept that students must be encouraged early in their academic lives if they are to become effective communicators.

Through interaction with established authors, poets, playwrights, storytellers, illustrators, journalists and teachers of writing, over 4,700 students who attend Young Authors Conference each year, discover and explore their writing talents and potential.

Students attending the 20th Annual Young Authors Conference will explore the theme Stories of Hope.

Isabell Monk O'Connor, Twin Cities actor-writer-educator of national renown, will keynote this year's conference.
